Health and Safety Advisor The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join a growing project team working on a major infrastructure and renewable energy development in the East of Scotland. Reporting into senior project and HSE management, you will provide professional health, safety and environmental advice across the project, working closely with site teams, contractors and clients to ensure high standards are maintained throughout delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for an HandS professional looking to join a well-established contractor with long-term career opportunities, professional development and exposure to major infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Support the development and ongoing management of HSE plans and project documentation. Assist with the preparation, review and approval of RAMS, Task Briefings, Permits to Dig and other safety documentation. Deliver site inductions, safety briefings and toolbox talks. Engage with site teams and workforce to promote positive safety behaviours and a strong safety culture. Provide competent HandS advice to project managers, site management, contractors and subcontractors. Identify project-specific risks and provide practical solutions to manage and mitigate them. Conduct regular site inspections, audits and HSE monitoring activities. Assist with incident reporting, investigation and corrective action processes.
