Health and Safety Advisor Data Centres Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Sector: Data Centres / Construction / Infrastructure Contract Type: Permanent The Opportunity An established and growing organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to support the delivery of major data centre construction and infrastructure projects. This is a site-focused position working closely with project management, construction teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance are maintained across live projects. The successful candidate will have a strong construction or infrastructure HandS background, ideally with experience working on data centre projects or other complex, high-value construction environments. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day health and safety support and advice across live construction projects. Carry out regular site inspections, audits and compliance checks. Identify hazards, assess risks and implement appropriate control measures. Support project teams in maintaining a positive health and safety culture. Review and monitor RAMS, permits, risk assessments and method statements. Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses and unsafe occurrences. Assist with the implementation of corrective and preventative actions. Deliver toolbox talks, briefings and safety awareness sessions. Monitor subcontractor health and safety performance.
