Connect Appointments have a new permanent position for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our Manufacturing client in the Dundee and Angus area.What''s on offer?A full-time permanent positionWorking week of Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pmAn annual salary of 35,000 to 40,000 FTEPaid annual leave entitlement plus public holidaysWorkplace pension scheme with employer contributionsIn this Health and Safety Advisor role you''ll support and improve health, safety and environmental performance across our client''s site. Your day-to-day duties will be to:Lead and support reviews of specific risk assessmentsAdminister near miss reporting and support investigations in line with company SOPs, including maintaining tracking systems and recordsConduct field safety tours, gemba walks, inspections and audits, supporting KPI delivery and monitoringDeliver risk assessment training and toolbox talks (TBTs)Support the HSE Coordinator with development and continuous improvement of the HSE management system in preparation for ISO 45001Support incident, accident and loss of containment investigations using recognised methodologiesProduce and maintain HSE performance metrics, including leading and lagging KPI dashboardsApply relevant HSE guidance and standards within operational environmentsTo be successful in this HandS role, you will hold a CITB SMSTS or NEBOSH National General Certificate with relevant professional body membership and additional HSE.
