The business delivers a wide range of projects including site preparation, earthworks, remediation, drainage, infrastructure, reinstatement and demolition works across the North West. With strong safety values, recognised accreditations and a commitment to high-quality service, this organisation is continuing to grow and is now strengthening its internal Health and Safety function.Your new roleOur client is seeking a proactive Health and Safety Advisor to support and drive best practice across multiple civil engineering and groundworks projects. Working closely with site teams and management, you will ensure that health, safety and environmental standards are met and consistently improved across the business.Responsibilities will include:Carrying out regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments across active civil engineering and groundworks projects.Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, industry standards and company policies.Supporting site management teams with method statements, COSHH assessments and safe systems of work.Investigating and reporting on incidents, near misses and non-conformances, putting in place corrective actions.Delivering toolbox talks, inductions and HandS briefings to site staff and subcontractors.Working with management to ..... full job details .....
