The successful individual will lead day-to-day health and safety activities, with support from senior management, the SHEQ team and external consultants. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working closely with production teams, improving workplace safety and keeping compliance documentation up to date. Health & Safety Officer responsibilities include - Complete and review risk assessments, implementing practical controls across manufacturing activities. Manage COSHH assessments, hazardous substance registers and safety data sheets. Oversee contractor safety, reviewing RAMS and managing permits to work. Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, driving corrective actions through to completion. Deliver inductions, safety training and toolbox talks, promoting a positive safety culture. Maintain compliance records, report safety KPIs and coordinate health surveillance, PPE checks and audit preparation. D... Part Time
