Health & Safety Manager

An established, forward-thinking tier 1 Principal Contractor with a strong presence across the UK and Ireland, delivering large-scale, high-value construction projects across the commercial, healthcare, residential and life sciences sectors are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join their team.

Reporting to the Head of Health & Safety, you''ll provide practical support and guidance to project teams, promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance across our construction sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Promoting health and safety best practice across the business and our subcontractors.
• Ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation.
• Reviewing subcontractor RAMS and safe systems of work.
• Supporting the development of health and safety policies and procedures.
• Delivering health and safety initiatives and assisting with training.
• Conducting regular site inspections, audits and accident investigations.

You''ll have:

• A recognised Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH, NCRQ, BSc or MSc, or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of current UK health and safety legislation.
• Experience carrying out accident and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Good IT skills and a valid CSCS card
