Health & Safety Manager (Construction)

EA Associates are working with a well-established construction-contractor based in Colchester who are looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Manager to support projects across Essex, Suffolk and the surrounding region.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects. You will take ownership of the company''s health and safety function, ensuring compliance across multiple live sites while promoting a positive safety culture throughout the business.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out site inspections and audits across construction and civil engineering projects
• Producing reports and ensuring corrective actions are implemented
• Providing guidance and support to site teams on all health and safety matters
• Reviewing RAMS, policies and procedures
• Delivering toolbox talks and health & safety training where required
• Investigating incidents and implementing preventative measures
• Ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation and industry best practice

Requirements:

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential)
• Previous experience within the construction and / or-civil engineering sectors
• Strong knowledge of current HSE legislation
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
