Are you an organised Health & Safety professional looking for a hands-on role where you can make a real difference across site operations?
We are currently recruiting for an HSE Coordinator to join a busy manufacturing site in Mildenhall. This is a varied role supporting day-to-day Health, Safety and Environmental activities across the business, helping to drive compliance, employee engagement, and a positive safety culture.
Working closely with site teams, you will play a key role in coordinating training, carrying out audits, and ensuring the business maintains high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities: -
- Coordinate and record Health & Safety training across the site
- Deliver Manual Handling training and maintain training records
- Support Health & Safety committee meetings and produce meeting minutes
- Organise well being initiatives and Mental Health Awareness activities
- Assist with inductions for new permanent and agency staff
- Carry out safety audits and support incident investigations
- Maintain safety boards, procedures, work instructions and process documentation
- Support preparation and review of Risk Assessments and COSHH documentation
- Train staff in safety procedures and compliance requirements
- Coordinate occupational health surveillance and compliance checks
- Monitor first aid supplies and contractor approvals
- Promote a positive Health & Safety culture across all departments
- Provide general HSE administration and compliance support as required
About You: -
- Previous experience in Health & Safety or compliance role
- Basic Health & Safety qualifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH preferred
- Strong IT skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop
