Health and Safety Advisor (Interim, Higher Education)

Are you a qualified Health and Safety professional with experience in complex or multi-occupancy environments? We''re seeking an interim Health and Safety Advisor to support a respected educational institution in Oxford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and improve health and safety practices across departments
- Support compliance with fire safety and relevant legislation
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and accident investigations
- Provide training and guidance to staff, students, and contractors
- Contribute to safe event planning and building project support
What You''ll Bring:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or NCRQ) and IOSH membership
- Knowledge of fire safety, asbestos, water hygiene compliance
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead on safety matters
- Experience in residential or higher education settings preferred
This is a hybrid/onsite role based in central Oxford. Part-time hours will be considered. Some access limitations (stairs-only access) apply.
