Health & Safety Advisor

Are you a Health and Safety Advisor with Rail experience?
 
Do you possess a NEBOSH Construction certificate?
 
Location: Between Hertfordshire and South Essex
Rate: £325 per day outside IR35
Contract Length: 6 months +
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm
 
A specialist infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support a growing portfolio of rail projects in South Essex.
 
This is a hands-on, site-based role providing practical H&S support across live projects, with a mixture of site inspections, briefings, documentation and stakeholder engagement.
 
Responsibilities:
·Provide day-to-day H&S support across live projects.
·Deliver site briefings, toolbox talks and task briefings.
·Prepare and review RAMS and other H&S documentation.
·Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance checks.
·Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
·Produce cost assessments where required.
·Ensure compliance with H&S legislation, company procedures and client requirements.
·Work closely with site teams, subcontractors and clients to promote a positive safety culture.
 
Essential Requirements:
·NEBOSH Construction Certificate
·Previous H&S experience within rail.
·Full UK driving licence.
·Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
