Head Pastry Chef Central London (WC1) £45,000 £48,000 Our client is seeking a talented and creative Head Pastry Chef to lead the pastry team at a prestigious Central London venue. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high-end hospitality environment delivering exceptional pastry offerings for both day-to-day service and a wide range of events from intimate gatherings to weddings and large-scale functions. As Head Pastry Chef, you will oversee the pastry section, creating both classic and contemporary desserts, artisan breads, pastries, and bespoke cakes to an exceptional standard. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the pastry section, overseeing daily kitchen operations Deliver outstanding pastry creations for high-profile events and prestigious occasions Develop innovative and high-quality desserts, pastries, breads, and baked goods Train, mentor, and inspire the pastry team to consistently achieve excellence Work closely with the Head Chef and Hospitality Manager on menu development and event planning Create new recipes and concepts for fine dining and retail-style café offerings Manage stock control, ordering, and kitchen budgets effectively Adapt menus and recipes to accommodate dietary requirements, including gluten-free and sugar-free options Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 About You Proven experience in a senior pastry role, ideally within fine dining, luxury hospitality, or a 5-star environment Passionate about pastry, ..... full job details .....
