Head of Year Outer London (Redbridge) Full-Time, Permanent September 2026 Outer London M1 - UPS3 (£37,870 - £56,154) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and inspirational Head of Year to join a successful secondary school in Outer London from September 2026. We are seeking an ambitious and committed teacher with a genuine passion for pastoral leadership, student wellbeing and academic achievement. The successful candidate will have high expectations of all students and be a reflective practitioner who is committed to continually developing and improving their practice. As Head of Year, you will play a vital role in supporting students both academically and personally, ensuring they are motivated, engaged and able to achieve their full potential. You will lead a dedicated pastoral team consisting of a Deputy Head of Year, SEND Deputy Head of Year and a team of tutors, working collaboratively to provide strong guidance and support for the year group. The role will also involve regular communication with parents and carers, discussing student progress and working together to ensure students are supported in all aspects of school life. The successful candidate will deliver aspirational weekly assemblies, promoting high expectations and helping students develop confidence, ambition and resilience.
