Head of Wholesale Platforms

Overview We are seeking an experienced Head of Wholesale Platforms with 15-20 years of experienceto lead a critical portfolio of wholesale technology platforms supporting a major telecom transformation programme. This is a senior leadership role responsible for platform strategy, delivery governance, operational performance, stakeholder management, and the successful execution of large-scale change across a complex wholesale technology landscape. The role leads both business-critical platform operations and future platform evolution while working closely with engineering, architecture, product, delivery and supplier teams. This is an opportunity to shape the future of a large-scale wholesale technology estate, influence strategic transformation programmes, and lead a highly visible portfolio at the heart of one of the UK''s most significant telecom technology transformations. Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end Wholesale Platforms portfolio and technology roadmap. Lead delivery, release governance and operational readiness across multiple platform domains. Drive platform reliability, performance, scalability and cost optimisation. Govern demand management, prioritisation and investment decisions. Build strong relationships with business, product, engineering and supplier stakeholders. Lead multidisciplinary platform, architecture, release and delivery teams.
