I’m working with a Serie A football club, and they require a Head of Wholesale and Marketplace Sales to develop and execute their retail and wholesale strategy, this is a new role for the club and offers huge growth potential.
You will have around 5 years’ experience with a proven track record in the third-party retail space within the fashion, sports or lifestyle markets. You will have solid commercial acumen with excellent relationship management skills and use your retail expertise to grow and develop the global wholesale and retail partner strategy for this truly unique football brand.
The role will be London based with travel to Italy and partnership locations globally, a second language would be a nice to have.
Key responsibilities
Business Development: Ability to identify, prospect and secure new wholesale and retail partnerships in local and global markets.
Account and Relationship Management: Manage, support and grow existing retail and wholesale partnerships and be the primary point of contact.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, sponsorship and partnership, operations and product development to align the wholesale strategy across the club.
Source feedback from retail partners on product assortment, price points and market trends and be across sales trends and data to push relevant products and drive revenue growth.
Build scalable processes and reporting systems to develop and grow a team to support international retail expansion.
Own all aspects of this role; help build out the processes and structure to develop an international retail and wholesale business.
