Head of Warehouse Operations£90,000 - £120,000 + car allowance and benefitsSurrey area exact location to be confirmedHave you taken a warehouse from an empty building to a fully functioning operation?Chosen the layout, put the systems in place, recruited the team and made sure customers received what they ordered?That experience is the starting point for this role.I m recruiting for an established international business supplying specialist products and equipment to the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors.They re developing a new operation in the Surrey area and need someone to establish the warehouse and distribution function, then lead it as the business grows.You ll be involved from the outset. Helping shape the layout and fit-out, selecting systems and equipment, establishing stock control and order fulfilment processes, and building the team.Once operational, you ll take responsibility for service, costs, operational performance and continuous improvement. You ll work closely with the commercial team to make sure the operation can support growth while keeping control of inventory, budgets and working capital.There is potential for the position to develop into a broader General Manager role, so you ll need commercial understanding alongside your operational experience.What they re looking for: Someone who has personally established and scaled a warehouse or distribution operation, with clear ownership of getting it operational.Experience within specialist ..... full job details .....
