Overview

Senior Property Underwriters are invited to join a ambitious property investment firm launching a new Property focused Insurance MGA. The role offers an equity stake and strong performance related bonuses. They would also consider a team move, so if you have a team you would like to bring, they can accommodate this from day 1.Responsibilities

Head up the launch of the new Property focused Insurance MGA and contribute to creating and working on a business plan to get the business launched.Work on capacity providers and the internal infrastructure, and onboard existing broker relationships while developing new ones.Drive underwriting performance and spearhead the development of underwriting strategies.Collaborate with investors to get the business off the ground and, subsequently, build a team.With accommodation for a current team, you may bring a small team (underwriters and an assistant underwriter) from the outset.Qualifications

Senior Property Underwriter. They would also consider a Senior Commercial Underwriter with strong property exposure within a combined role.Location and Work Pattern

Based at their South Woodford office for at least 2 or 3 days a week; remaining days can be worked from home if preferred.Compensation and Benefits

Salary £150,000–£225,000 depending on experience, with equity stake and performance related bonuses. They are open to tailoring the package; higher salary requests will be considered.How to Apply
