We are working with a well-established bakery business that is going through an exciting period of investment and transformation. They are looking for a Transport Manager to take ownership of their transport operation and help drive it forward. The Role You will manage a team of 25 drivers and 3 night-shift supervisors, overseeing the delivery of fresh bakery products to 115 stores across 17 routes. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the operation, improving driver retention and ensuring deliveries run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include: Managing drivers, supervisors and the daily transport operation. Overseeing 17 multi-drop delivery routes. Improving driver retention and reducing turnover. Maintaining and improving transport compliance. Managing the O Licence requirements. Reviewing transport processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
