Head of Technical Engineering Location: York Job type: Permanent Hours 37.5 hours per week Monday- Friday. Flexible start/finish times of 7am 9 am and 3pm-5pm finish. Hybrid working is considered after probation for up to 2 days per week. Salary: £80,000 per annum + 10% bonus Are you an experienced RF/Microwave Engineering Leader, we have an opportunity to take ownership of the technical direction for a highly specialized engineering function operating on a global stage. As Head of Technical Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the organisations RF and Microwave engineering strategy. As part of the site leadership team, you will define architecture, champion engineering governance and lead a talented multi-discipline engineering group. Key responsibilities Lead and develop the technical engineering team, providing hands-on guidance to RF/MW design engineers and nurture strong design cultureSet technical vision, architecture and long term technology roadmapOversee modelling, simulation, prototyping and verification across all RF/MW productsDrive concept development, feasibility assessments and technical input for customer proposalsManage engineering risks, budgets, schedules and technical reviewsMaintain high-quality engineering processes, providing technical assurance and resolving design challengesSupport customer-facing technical decisions, design reviews and progress updates About you Degree (or equivalent) with deep expertise in RF and Microwave ..... full job details .....
