Overview

As Technical Delivery Manager for Channel 4 News, you will lead all technical aspects of media workflows, ensuring seamless, efficient, and high-quality content delivery across all platforms. This includes supporting both broadcast and digital teams, with a focus on enabling frictionless sharing of content across locations and teams.You will oversee the end-to-end process, including ingest, transfer, transcoding, editing, sharing, and distribution, supporting the newsroom''s fast-paced operational needs and creative ambitions. Based within the C4 News business unit, this role acts as the operational lead for technical workflows, focused on optimising local processes and driving day-to-day delivery excellence. You will work closely with editorial, production, and technical teams in London, across national and international bureaux, and on deployments, ensuring consistency and high standards wherever C4 News operates.While you will play a central role in shaping operational approaches and contributing to workflow strategy for C4 News, you will work in close partnership with colleagues in ITN\''s central Technology department.
