Head of Technical Compliance

A leading facilities management provider is looking for a Head of Technical Compliance to lead technical governance, statutory compliance and assurance across a highly regulated Defence environment in Wiltshire.
You''ll act as the contract''s technical authority, leading compliance strategy, managing technical risk and ensuring building services and infrastructure meet statutory, contractual and regulatory requirements.
The Role
As the Head of Technical Compliance, you''ll:

• Lead technical compliance, governance and assurance across the contract.
• Develop and maintain the technical compliance assurance framework.
• Lead technical audits, inspections and corrective action programmes.
• Oversee statutory compliance across building services, infrastructure and specialist services.
• Lead Authorised Persons, technical competency and training programmes.
• Review projects, designs and technical documentation before assets enter service.

About You
To be successful as the Head of Technical Compliance, you''ll have:

• Significant experience leading technical compliance, engineering governance or assurance functions.
• Strong statutory compliance knowledge across building services and infrastructure.
• Proven experience leading technical audits, inspections and assurance activities.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex technical requirements.
• Essential: Full UK driving licence and ability to obtain and maintain SC Clearance.

Defence or MOD experience and knowledge of JSP 375 would be advantageous. Experience with CDM Regulations, Asbestos, Legionella and wider compliance frameworks is also desirable.
