Our client, an established specialist distributor of electronic components and technical solutions, are looking for a Head of Technical - Batteries/Power to join their team on a permanent basis and can be based UK wide. This is a senior technical and commercial leadership role responsible for leading the technical team, developing a strong design-in pipeline and driving growth across the batteries and power technology portfolio. Key responsibilities of the Head of Technical - Batteries/Power job based UK wide:Lead and develop the Technical team, setting KPIs and driving performance across the design funnelDevelop and convert a sustainable pipeline of design opportunities into design wins and productionAct as the technical expert across batteries, power and associated technologiesWork closely with Sales, Account Management and suppliers to identify and convert new opportunitiesProvide technical support throughout the customer design cycle, from evaluation and testing through to productionDevelop supplier growth plans and manage key supplier relationships and QBRsIdentify gaps within the product portfolio and develop strategies to introduce new suppliers and technologiesBuild relationships with senior decision-makers across customers and suppliersMonitor market and technology developments to identify new opportunitiesSupport customer visits, supplier training, webinars, exhibitions and marketing campaignsReport on technical activity, pipeline development and commercial ..... full job details .....
