Head of Treasury and Tax (Interim) 6-Month Contract Hybrid (Slough or London) The Opportunity We are partnering with a fast-growing, infrastructure-focused business to appoint an Interim Head of Treasury and Tax for an initial 6-month contract.This is a high-impact role focused on strengthening tax compliance, enhancing treasury operations, and building a robust control framework to support continued growth across a multi-entity, international environment.You will work closely with the senior finance leadership team to deliver a cohesive, audit-ready finance function. The Role Tax Strategy and Compliance Lead all corporate tax, VAT, PAYE/NIC and international tax complianceOversee tax planning, structuring and risk managementManage relationships with external advisors and tax authoritiesMonitor legislative changes and assess business impactEnsure all tax positions are fully documented and audit-ready Treasury and Cash Management Lead cash flow forecasting, liquidity management and working capital optimisationImplement and enhance 13-week cash forecastingManage banking relationships, facilities and financing arrangementsOversee intercompany funding and in-house bankingMonitor and mitigate FX, interest rate and credit risksStrengthen treasury controls (payments, mandates, approvals) Compliance and Risk Own the tax and treasury governance framework across all entitiesEnsure audit readiness, including documentation and controlsAct as key contact for internal and external ..... full job details .....
