The opportunity;As Interim Head of Talent, you will take ownership of the UK talent development strategy, ensuring business-critical activity continues seamlessly. You will lead an established team and work closely with senior stakeholders to maintain focus, delivery, and confidence during an interim period.This is likely to be a 3-6 month contract with the opportunity to work flexibly.Key Responsibilities;Leadership and Team ManagementLead and support a well-established team of talent and LandD professionals, ensuring clear direction, focus and delivery against priorities.Talent and Succession StrategyDrive forward succession planning and talent management frameworks, strengthening leadership pipelines and organisational resilience.Leadership DevelopmentRefine and embed leadership competency frameworks aligned to organisational values and strategic goals, ensuring scalable and practical development solutions.Early CareersOversee graduate, apprenticeship and early careers programmes, ensuring alignment with future workforce planning and internal progression pathways.Stakeholder EngagementOperate as a senior HR leader, partnering with the wider HR function and executive stakeholders to sustain momentum and engagement.Based in the North East with some UK wide travel.What We''re Looking For;You will be an experienced senior talent / LandD leader, ideally with:A strong track record in leadership development and succession planningExperience managing established teams and driving ..... full job details .....
