Head of Supply Chain and Logistics

Consortium Professional Recruitment are pleased to be working with our client to recruit an experienced Head of Supply Chain for a key leadership position within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. This is an opportunity to take ownership across planning, stock control, logistics and export operations. You will lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team while using data, lean principles and continuous improvement to strengthen service, efficiency and supply chain performance. The Opportunity: As a Head of Supply Chain you ll play a key role in: • Leading production and material planning, ensuring raw materials and finished goods are in the right place at the right time while supporting efficient production and service levels. • Managing stock control, WIP and inventory processes, with a focus on accuracy, rotation, traceability, quality and effective use of space. • Overseeing logistics, intake and despatch operations, including 3PL, booking processes and the timely movement of goods. • Leading, coaching and developing teams across planning, stock control and logistics, building capability through clear objectives, regular reviews and succession planning. • Using KPIs, forecasting, capacity modelling and continuous improvement principles to identify opportunities to improve performance, control costs and support future business requirements.
