      <description>Location: Old Aberdeen | Salary: &amp;pound;43787/annum | Type: Permanent | Contract Type:  Full Time, Permanent   Location:   Aberdeen, University of Aberdeen International Study Centre.  Salary:  up to £43,787.06 per annum  Heads of Subject will provide the leadership and vision to deliver excellent student outcomes; quality assurance and enhancement that is commended by the QAA; and curriculum innovation which embeds strong collaborative working with both the University and the network. You will be responsible for leading and supporting our academic team. Reporting to the Head of Curriculum and Quality, you will work closely with senior colleagues within and outside of the Centre and be accountable for the delivery of contractually required progression rates to the University. The post-holder will take responsibility for all programme matters within the programme area they are responsible for (engineering, computing, and life sciences). The successful candidate will have recent and successful academic line management experience in a relevant subject discipline and have proven ability to engage with a HEI in collaborative developments.
