Unlike many Head of Department roles, this position has a focused single-site remit across core Construction Trades, without responsibility for Engineering, Motor Vehicle or multiple campuses.As Head of Structural Technologies, you''ll lead a team of Programme Managers and Lecturers across the Construction provision. You''ll take responsibility for curriculum delivery, quality improvement, learner retention and achievement, staffing, resources and the continued development of the department, while maintaining a minimum teaching commitment of around 10 hours per week.You''ll work closely with the Curriculum Director and alongside another Head responsible for Engineering and Motor Vehicle, giving you a strong support structure while still having ownership of your curriculum area.
