Head of SRE (DevOps-Led Cloud Transformation)St Albans (Hybrid)Up to £92,500 + Bonus + SharesMethod Resourcing have partnered with a rapidly scaling, PE-backed international technology business operating in highly critical, high-availability sectors.Following significant growth and multiple acquisitions, the business is entering a major modernisation phase - including the migration of four data centres into Microsoft Azure and the evolution of its DevOps and reliability operating model.This is a newly created Head of SRE role with a strong DevOps focus.The OpportunityReporting to the Engineering Director, you will lead a team of 6 (3 DevOps, 3 QA) and take ownership of platform reliability, cloud infrastructure strategy, and automation maturity across the organisation.Key areas of focus include:Leading large-scale migration from on-premise data centres to AzureElevating Infrastructure-as-Code standards and governanceStrengthening CI/CD pipelines and reducing manual deployment overheadEnsuring platforms are scalable, resilient, and ready for mass usageEmbedding observability and proactive reliability practicesIntegrating QA effectively into the DevOps life cycleThis is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic direction and technical depth.What We''re Looking ForStrong Azure cloud engineering backgroundExperience leading DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering functionsProven track record in infrastructure modernisation and automationDeep understanding of ..... full job details .....
