Head of Social Value & Sustainability

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Tier One provider within the highway sector, who are looking to appoint a-Head of Social Value & Sustainability-to join their growing business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong experience in social value, sustainability, and stakeholder engagement, looking to take ownership of strategy and make a tangible impact across a diverse range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and drive the Social Value & Sustainability strategy
• Deliver social value commitments across all projects
• Support and develop Social Value Champions
• Embed social value, EDI, and corporate responsibility culture
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Work closely with client teams across customer, environment, and EDI

About You:

• Proven social value & sustainability experience (construction/infrastructure ideal)
• Strong knowledge of EDI, CSR & community engagement
• Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder skills
• Skilled in reports, tenders & data presentation
• Highly organised; able to juggle multiple priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
