Head of Service Enablement , you''ll lead a team at the centre of operational change, ensuring that new services — whether delivered internally or through partners — are fit-for-purpose, robustly tested, and ready for live operation.You’ll shape the service enablement strategy, own critical delivery frameworks, and lead on high-impact programmes. You’ll also be the go-to expert for service readiness across the DCC — trusted by execs, delivery teams, and external partners alike.What will you be doing?Leading end-to-end service transition for new and changing services — from planning to go-live and hyper care.Creating and embedding governance frameworks, risk controls, and readiness testing (OAT).Defining and driving service enablement strategy aligned to business and regulatory goals.Leading a high-performing team of managers and analysts to deliver continuous improvement.Engaging senior stakeholders across DCC, service providers, and customers.Ensuring services are scalable, compliant, and performance-assured (KPIs/SLAs).What are we looking for?Proven leadership in complex, regulated service environments (e.g. energy, telecoms)Expertise in ITIL/service management frameworks and operational changeStrong senior stakeholder management and team leadership skillsExperience with large-scale service transitions or migrations(Desirable) ITIL certification, experience in smart metering/energy/telecoms, financial acumenAbout the DCC:At the DCC, we believe in making Britain more connected, so we can all lead smarter, greener lives.
