Head of Serious Injury

We are working with a respected client based near Durham for a Head of Serious Injury, on a full-time permanent basis. This is a senior leadership role within a specialist medico-legal services environment, responsible for leading the Serious Injury division. What You Can Expect Salary £55 000 - £65 000 per annum depending on experience Office based with one day per week remote Private Medical Insurance and Medical Cash Plan 5% matched pension and 4x salary life assurance 23 days holiday, rising after length of service and Enhanced maternity pay What You Will Be Doing A senior leadership role with ownership of a key specialist service line Accountability for departmental strategy, performance, and profitability Responsibility for regulatory compliance across complex medico-legal frameworks Close collaboration with Sales, Finance, IT, and Change teams Ownership of quality assurance, continuous improvement, and digitisation initiatives Direct influence on client satisfaction, expert performance, and service scalability Defining and delivering the Serious Injury departmental strategy Leading the end-to-end operational delivery of medico-legal reporting for serious injury cases Ensuring compliance with Civil Procedure Rules (CPR), GDPR, MedCo, and relevant industry standards Managing and developing client relationships, including governance meetings and escalation resolution Driving commercial growth, revenue performance, and profitability Owning quality assurance ..... full job details .....
