Head of School Permanent Full-Time 40 Hours per WeekSalary: £77,676 - £85,547 per annum We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head of School to lead a specialist education setting that supports children and young people aged 6-19 with complex learning needs, including severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), physical disabilities, autism, and associated medical needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior leader to shape the strategic direction of a highly specialist school, driving excellence in education, safeguarding, and operational performance while ensuring every young person receives the support, they need to achieve their full potential. The Role Working closely with the principal and wider leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the school. Similar in scope to a Headteacher position, you will oversee educational outcomes, operational performance, financial management, safeguarding, and staff development. Key Responsibilities Lead the strategic and operational management of the school. Establish and maintain a positive school ethos focused on achievement, inclusion, and wellbeing. Develop and implement effective school improvement plans. Monitor educational performance and drive continuous improvement.
