Operating as the organisation s principal specialist in risk management, the post holder will ensure that the Trust s risk infrastructure, processes, and reporting mechanisms meet the highest standards of corporate governance and regulatory compliance. This includes exercising authoritative oversight of the Corporate Risk Register, the Board Assurance Framework, and all associated governance mechanisms to ensure risks are accurately identified, escalated, mitigated, and communicated with clarity at Executive and Board level. Working collaboratively with senior managers, clinical leaders, corporate functions, and external stakeholders, the post holder will drive forward a proactive, learning orientated approach to risk management across the Trust.
