Head of Project Controls
This senior leadership role is responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining project baselines across scope, cost, schedule, risk, and quality within a major rail development programme. The post-holder provides strategic insight on performance, risks, and trends to support decision-making across the organisation and its supply chain.
As a Head of Project Controls, you will need to have/be:
- Proven experience leading project controls on large, complex programmes.
- Expertise in scheduling, cost, change, and risk management.
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, influencing, and senior-level reporting.
- Familiarity with NEC contracts and project controls systems (e.g. Primavera P6, Prism).

- Working Hours: Full time Monday - Friday
- Location: London/Hybrid (3 days office based)

Role of Head of Project Controls:
- Leading project controls functions including schedule, cost, change, and risk management.
- Ensuring compliance with programme management standards and processes.
- Managing and assuring project controls data across multiple delivery partners.
- Driving integration of baselines, dependencies, and performance reporting.
- Leading risk and change management processes and providing strategic analysis to senior stakeholders.
- Line-managing and developing a large team of project controls professionals.
