Sellick Partnership is partnering with a leading Higher Education institution to recruit a Head of Programme Delivery on a fixed-term basis.
The Responsibilities of the Head of Programme Delivery will be:
- Leading the end-to-end delivery of Phase 2 of the People Systems Project, ensuring two critical workstreams - Systems, Automation & Innovation and Position Data & Establishment Control - are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
- Overseeing delivery planning, governance structures, resource management, risk mitigation and stakeholder communications.
- Driving stakeholder engagement across senior leaders and wider university teams, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and delivery expectations.
- Managing third-party suppliers and technical partners to ensure contractual deliverables and value for money.
- Championing cultural and behavioural change as new ways of working, automation, and data disciplines are embedded.
- Maintaining budget oversight and ensuring robust data governance and compliance.
The Ideal candidate for the Head of Programme Delivery will have:
- Extensive experience leading complex transformation programmes within HR, digital systems, or enterprise-wide change.
- Strong knowledge of HR systems (ideally SAP SuccessFactors) and data governance.
- A proven track record of successful delivery within large, complex organisations.
- Excellent leadership skills, able to inspire diverse, multi-disciplinary teams and foster a collaborative, inclusive culture.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and align senior leaders.
- Hands-on approach, comfortable working at both strategic and operational levels to drive delivery.
