JOB TITLE: Head of Production Engineering DEPARTMENT: Operations LOCATION: Sheffield, UK REPORTS TO: VP, ManufacturingOVERVIEW:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Production Engineering to lead our clients multidisciplinary engineering team in a high-volume, automated manufacturing environment.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in robotic assembly and automated production systems, preferably within large-scale manufacturing.This leadership role is pivotal in industrializing new products from concept to full-scale production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and scalability at every stage.KEY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of production, process, and manufacturing engineers.Drive the successful industrialisation of new products, ensuring smooth transition from concept to full production.Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of high-volume automated and robotic assembly processes.Ensure production processes meet quality, cost, and delivery targets while adhering to health and safety standards.Collaborate closely with RandD, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure seamless product launch and process integration.Evaluate and implement advanced manufacturing technologies to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.Develop engineering standards, procedures, and KPIs to promote continuous improvement within the production engineering function.Act as a technical authority in ..... full job details .....
