Head of Planning and ProcurementLocation - ChichesterSalary - 55,000 - 65,000We are currently recruiting for Head of Planning and Procurement on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Chichester.They are seeking a Head of Procurement and Planning to lead procurement strategy, supply chain operations, and inventory planning, ensuring the effective flow of materials and services throughout the business.Job OverviewDevelop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and servicesManage supplier relationships, contracts, performance, and quality standardsIdentify and mitigate supply chain risks and implement contingency plans where appropriateOversee forecasting, planning, and inventory levels in line with production requirementsWork collaboratively with production, logistics, and finance teamsUtilise the ERP system to manage procurement, inventory, and supplier performanceLead improvements to ERP processes and modules relating to procurement and supply chainLead, mentor, and develop the procurement and planning teamManage the procurement budget and monitor relevant KPIsContribute to senior leadership decision-making and wider company initiativesRequirementsProven experience in a similar senior leadership role within a manufacturing businessStrong knowledge of procurement, supply chain, and inventory planningExperience managing and developing a teamStrong knowledge of ERP systems and using technology to ..... full job details .....
