Lead a well-established Private Client department with strong growth potential. Provide technical expertise and light-touch leadership to a settled, capable team. This is a rare opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor to step into a Head of Department role at a firm with a supportive culture and an already thriving practice. With a smooth-running team in place, you’ll join at the right time to take the reins, manage a diverse caseload, and guide the team’s continued growth. This is very much a management-focused role with the support of talented, experienced fee earners around you.Who we’re looking for

3 PQE + Private Client SolicitorStrong technical expertise across wills, probate, estate planning, trusts, and taxExperience handling HNW and complex estate mattersConfident managing people in an inclusive, collaborative wayAble to provide technical supervision and support where neededAmbitious and commercially minded, with an interest in growing the departmentWhat you’ll be doing

Lead and supervise the Private Client departmentManage a caseload of varied private client matters, including HNW and complex workAct as the go-to technical expert for the teamSupport the development of juniors and identify training needsContribute to the department’s long-term growth strategy, particularly in agricultureWork closely with colleagues across offices to deliver seamless client serviceSalary and Benefits
