Head of Private Client Law

A well-established law firm in Portsmouth is looking to appoint a Head of Private Client to lead and further develop its existing department.This is a senior appointment with real scope to shape the direction of the team. The firm already has a solid Private Client offering in place, and is now looking for an experienced lawyer who can drive the department forward while maintaining a high standard of client service.You''ll take on a mix of leadership and fee-earning responsibilities, supported by an established team and administrative staff.The role will involve:Leading and developing the Private Client departmentManaging a varied caseload including Wills, Probate, Trusts and LPAsSupervising and mentoring junior lawyers and support staffContributing to the strategic growth of the departmentMaintaining and developing client relationships and referrer networksWhat they''re looking for:An experienced Private Client Solicitor (typically 8+ PQE, flexible)Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of Private Client mattersPrevious leadership or supervisory experienceA commercial and proactive approach to team and client developmentThis is a genuine opportunity to step into a leadership role with influence.
