This role offers the chance to develop your expertise in estate planning, trusts, probate, and inheritance tax, while playing an integral part in the firm’s Private Client department.As you grow with the firm, you will have a clear pathway to progress into a senior leadership role as Head of the Private Client Department, leading a team and helping shape the department’s strategic direction and growth.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Private Client Solicitor:Provide expert advice on Wills, estate planning, trust administration, probate, inheritance tax, and related mattersManage your own caseload of private client matters, including complex estates and Court of Protection casesBuild strong, trusted relationships with clients and referrersWork collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to deliver excellent client serviceMaintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and compliance requirementsAssist with business development and client retention initiativesProgression to Head of Department:Take on increasing responsibility for managing and mentoring junior team membersContribute to the development and delivery of the department’s business plan and financial targetsLead on client relationship management and strategic growth initiativesOversee departmental compliance, performance, and operational mattersRepresent the department and firm at networking and industry eventsQualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3+ years PQE in Private Client lawStrong technical knowledge in estate planning, trusts, probate, and tax mattersExcellent communication and client management skillsCommercially aware with a desire to develop leadership capabilitiesStrong organisational skills and attention to detailSTEP qualification or working towards itExperience in managing junior colleagues or involvement in team projectsKnowledge of practice management software such as Practice EvolveWhat We OfferCompetitive salary with performance-related progressionClear career pathway to Head of Private Client DepartmentSupportive and collaborative working environmentAccess to training, mentoring and professional ..... full job details .....
