Head of Platforms and OperationsSalary: to be discussedSunderland - onsite 3x per week We are representing a business at a very exciting period of change and modernisation. They are seeking a Head of Platforms and Operations to be part of their transformative journey in a new leadership team. Within this position, you will play a critical role in overseeing and optimising the platform and operations functions within the IT department. You will lead the design, implementation of robust platforms across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. We are looking for:Proven experience in platform engineering and IT operationsDemonstrated success in leading platform and operations teamsHands on experience with major cloud platforms (ideally AWS or Azure)Deep knowledge of DevOps, automation, and IaC. It would be a bonus if you had:Familiarity with compliance standardsKnowledge of network, compute, storage, and security architectures. The salary and package on offer is generous and comprehensive.
