Head of Planning Policy and Strategy Location: Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 3+ months Working Hours: Mon Fri, 09 00, 37 Hours per week Pay Rate: £360.00 per day Job Ref: OR18955 Job Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of planning policies and strategies. Ensure policies align with local and national regulations. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input and feedback. Oversee the preparation of reports and presentations. Manage a team of planning professionals. Represent the council at meetings and public events. Person Specifications Must Have Experience as a Town Planner. Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Knowledge of planning legislation and policies. Ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders. Nice to Have Experience in a similar role within a council or public sector. Advanced degree in urban planning or related field. Familiarity with local community issues.
