Head of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement Location: Wimborne Minster Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum dependant on experience Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time (37 hours per week, working 0830hrs to 1700hrs, Monday to Friday) Canford School is a leading co-educational boarding and day school set in 250 acres of beautiful parkland in Dorset, educating around 660 pupils aged 13-18. We are seeking an experienced and inspirational Head of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement to lead the Development Office and play a key role in strengthening our culture of philanthropy and engagement. About the role Reporting to the Director of Engagement, you will lead the school''s fundraising strategy and develop an engaging, effective alumni programme. Key responsibilities include: Delivering the School''s fundraising strategy and annual income targets. Developing relationships with prospective donors and securing major gifts, regular giving and legacy pledges. Creating compelling cases for support and developing effective donor cultivation and solicitation plans. Building a strong culture of philanthropy across the Canford community.
