The successful candidate will play a key part in shaping organisational culture, modernising people services and ensuring the workforce is equipped to deliver excellent outcomes for residents and communities.The RoleThe Head of People Services will provide both strategic and operational leadership across the full employee lifecycle, leading a team covering People Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition and Organisational Development.Key responsibilities include:Leading the development and delivery of the People Strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.Acting as a trusted adviser to senior leaders and the executive team on workforce planning, organisational capability, culture and performance.Driving organisational development, employee engagement, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives.Overseeing recruitment, talent management, learning and development, reward and benefits, employee relations and policy development.Leading workforce planning to build organisational capability and resilience.Developing and managing the People Services budget and monitoring the effectiveness of external service providers.Championing the use of people systems, data, automation and self-service solutions to improve efficiency and user experience.Ensuring ..... full job details .....
