Summary of the Head of People role Salary: Competitive Location: Milton Keynes Type of Contract: Permanent Hours: 35 hours Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm Responsibilities of the Head of People  Lead and support a small HR team. Work directly with key leaders and heads of business. Attend quarterly board meetings. Update and advise senior management and department heads on employment legislation, restructuring and training. Develop HR policies and procedures, keeping up to date with legislative changes. Manage employee benefits and the pension scheme. Develop training budgets and support managers with PDP's. Manage the recruitment process including, writing job specifications, liaising with agencies & third parties, writing employment contracts and discipline and grievances.
