The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership whilst ensuring the effective day-to-day delivery of payroll, pensions and associated services. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the overall management, performance and strategic development of the Payroll Services function.Ensure the delivery of an accurate, timely and compliant payroll service for a large workforce.Oversee all statutory returns, pension submissions and payroll compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation and deadlines.Manage departmental budgets, business planning and service improvement initiatives.Develop and implement policies, procedures and system enhancements to improve operational efficiency.Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across Finance, HR and the wider organisation.Lead, motivate and develop a large payroll team, driving high standards of service delivery and performance.Essential RequirementsSignificant payroll management experience gained within a large public ..... full job details .....
