Description
- Oversee and lead an established payroll function.
- Manage any system or process improvement.
- Strategic involvement and effective decision making that promotes continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement efficient payroll processes and procedures.
- Implement future benefits schemes
- Collaborate with the accounting and finance department on payroll-related activities.
- Handle payroll reporting, including tax filings and statutory requirements.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries professionally.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory changes impacting payroll.
- Provide leadership and development opportunities for the payroll team.
Profile
A successful Head of Payroll should have:
- Proven experience in Head of Payroll, Senior Payroll or Payroll Manager position
- Strong knowledge of UK and Ireland Payroll Regulations
- Passion for continuous improvement and people management
- Proficiency in payroll software and relevant systems.
- Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
- Enjoys working in a fast paced working environment
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from -65,000 to -75,000 per annum.
- Hybrid working (3 days onsite/2 days at home)
