Based at our client''s operation in Portsmouth, key responsibilities will include:Define and execute a 3-year operational vision to support the company growth objectives.Manage supplier relationships, embedding agreements with key suppliers that define terms for OTIF, quality standards and price stability.Contribute to strategic planning as a member of the SLT by presenting KPI''s, quarterly project updates, and long-term operational plans.Develop a carrier strategy to ensure shipping costs are consistently covered by customer invoicing.Develop and implement cost reduction strategies, including supplier changes where necessary.Explore opportunities to bring final assembly processes in-house to enhance control over production qualityFoster a culture of ownership and high standards across all office and operational environments.Drive process documentation across all departments; create and maintain a comprehensive company processes handbook.Prepare for ISO 9001 certification by implementing quality management systems aligned with international standards.
