Role Overview

Our client, a growing third-party logistics (3PL) provider operating within the non-food sector, is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead and optimise multi-site warehouse and logistics operations. This role carries full accountability for operational performance, service delivery, cost control, and people leadership across a diverse customer portfolio.

The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, standardisation, and continuous improvement while ensuring high service levels in a fast-paced, contract logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Provide strategic and hands-on leadership across multiple non-food 3PL operations

• Ensure consistent service delivery in line with customer SLAs and contractual requirements

• Drive standard operating procedures and best practice across all sites

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Lead productivity, cost efficiency, and quality improvement initiatives

• Use KPIs to monitor performance across labour, throughput, accuracy, and cost

• Champion Lean, CI, or operational excellence methodologies
