This one is about leading the delivery of the systems that will make a major new rail facility work. We''re working with a joint venture delivering a large train maintenance depot and operational control centre in Birmingham. The scheme brings together complex buildings, specialist depot equipment and railway systems. They need a Head of MEP who can take ownership from design development through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. You''ll lead the MEP team and specialist supply chain, working closely with the project leadership, designers and client. A big part of the job will be getting ahead of the interfaces: making sure the building services are properly coordinated with the depot''s operational equipment, that designs can be built and maintained, and that completed systems work together when it comes time to commission the facility.
