Head of Major Projects Day Rate: £700 - £750 per day (Umbrella) Working Pattern: Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office We are recruiting for an experienced Head of Major Projects to lead the delivery of a significant programme of capital projects across a large and varied property portfolio. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing a portfolio of high-value refurbishment, planned maintenance, decarbonisation and capital projects from inception through to completion. You will provide programme-wide oversight, ensure effective governance and drive successful delivery against time, cost and quality objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of major capital and revenue projects. Manage a portfolio of refurbishment, planned maintenance and decarbonisation schemes. Provide strategic programme management and governance oversight. Develop project scopes, business cases and procurement strategies. Manage project budgets, risks and contractual performance. Lead relationships with senior stakeholders, consultants and contractors. Ensure projects are delivered safely, compliantly and in line with agreed objectives. About You Significant experience delivering complex capital projects and programmes. Strong understanding of construction, refurbishment and project delivery processes.
